team trip sydney

A trip to Sydney is an unforgettable experience. The world-famous city has so many fantastic attractions, providing your team with an action-packed, fun-filled adventure. We have great Team Trips suppliers allowing you to build your own package! To ensure you see everything on offer, we have compiled a list of the top Sydney attractions you should do with your team!

Climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge

Sydney Harbour Bridge group climb

There’s no doubt that Sydney Harbour Bridge is an instantly internationally recognisable landmark, so why not climb this iconic Bridge and experience the breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of Sydney? During your three-hour journey to the top, you will take 1,332 steps as you scale from the upper arch to the peak of an Australian icon. You will have a commentator accompanying you so you can learn about the history of the Bridge and a dedicated climb leader. Each of your team will receive a certificate of achievement and a BridgeClimb cap, amongst other things, when you reach the top. Fascinating Fact: Oprah Winfrey, Matt Damon, Nicole Kidman, Robert De Niro, Pierce Brosnan, Prince Harry, and Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark are just some of the celebrities that have climbed the Bridge, so if it’s good fun for them, it will be for your group, too!

Take a 30-Minute Sydney Harbour Jet Boat Ride

Sydney Harbour Jet Boat Ride

Why not enjoy the beautiful Sydney Harbour in a unique way – with a wild 30-minute ride on a jet boat? You’ll zip through Sydney Harbour, past sights such as the Opera House, Rose Bay, the Taronga Zoo, and Luna Park as you listen to tunes on the state-of-the-art speaker system. Hold onto your seats because this is one wet and wild adventure – the jet boat can travel up to 47 miles per hour (75 kilometres per hour) and perform tricks such as 270-degree spins, fishtails, wave riding, slides, and twists.

Spend The Day at Bondi Beach

You can’t make a trip to Sydney without hitting Bondi Beach. There, you will see crowds of beachgoers and swimming in the iconic Icebergs is a must (you’ll capture great photos for social media posts, too). Your group will also love the 6km Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk. With stunning views, it will take your breath away! While you’re there, try surfing with professional surfing lessons. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner; you’ll soon be riding the Bondi waves like a pro.

See Endangered Animals at Taronga Zoo

Animals at Taronga Zoo

Located just 12 minutes by ferry from the heart of Sydney’s CBD, you’ll get the opportunity to see some of the precious endangered animals at the Taronga Zoo. The award-winning Zoo cares for over 5,000 animals from over 350 species, some of which are on the endangered list. You’ll see Sumatran Tigers, Asian Elephants, Chimpanzees, Giraffes, Meerkats, Gorillas, Red Kangaroos, and Sun Bears. They have daily shows, plus the opportunity to get close to some of the sanctuary animals, including the “Koala Experience” package, where you can be pictured cuddling one of these beloved mammals and even indulge in a gourmet breakfast surrounded by Koalas. That’s a picture you’ll want to share with your parents when you return home!

Take a Guided Walking Tour of The Rocks

If you want to take a historic trip down memory lane, head to The Rocks, a neighbourhood of laneways in the shadow of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the birthplace of modern Sydney. During your tour, with the backdrop of Sydney Harbour and the Campbells Cove Wharves, your guide will lead you along laneways and cobbled courtyards, where you’ll discover some of Sydney’s earliest buildings, including Cadman’s Cottage, built in 1816 and Garrison Church, which dates back to the 1840s. You can also visit the open-air Rocks Markets, where you can purchase street food and handmade fashions and watch buskers perform on the beautiful harbour-front promenade.

Swim with the Dolphins in Port Stephens

Dolphins in Port Stephens

Want to feel ‘part of the pod’? Then head to Port Stephens, home to over 165 bottlenose dolphins, where you will have a chance to swim with them. You will be fully immersed and gently pulled through the water while safely harnessed at the front of a boat, between the two catamaran hulls. The dolphins love to play, and you can be part of their gang and swim with them up close! It’s the safest way to swim with dolphins and a magical experience that your group won’t forget.
